  1. Do NOT treat fresh mud — let it dry completely first. Treating wet mud spreads it.

  2. Once fully dry, brush off all dried mud with a stiff brush or old toothbrush.

  3. Rinse under cold water from the back of the fabric.

  4. Apply dish soap, work in gently.

  5. Machine wash cold.
