  1. Blot up as much urine as possible with paper towels — stand on them to apply pressure.

  2. Pour cold water on the spot and blot again.

  3. Mix 1 cup white vinegar + 1 cup cold water + 2 tbsp dish soap.

  4. Pour on the spot, let sit 10 minutes, then blot up.

  5. Sprinkle baking soda generously on the damp area, leave until fully dry (several hours), then vacuum.
